Hoarding
Hoarding (DSM-5: Hoarding Disorder)
When discarding feels unsafe or overwhelming, clutter can block light, movement, and daily function. In session we pair gentle talking therapy with graded, zone-by-zone work: mapping safety pathways, creating “keep/unsure/release” stations, and using the story of each object to surface attachment, fear, or grief. Small, reversible steps reduce distress; values-based rules (not willpower) guide decisions—so your space begins to support you again.
